Under the Diving at Work Regulations 1997, all divers at work must have a valid certificate of fitness to dive which must be issued by a HSE Approved Medical Examiner of Divers (AMED). The Diving doctor can also assist with PADI and BSAC recreational diving medical assessments and sign off certificates.
Off-Shore medicals are undertaken and certified by our approved OEUK (Offshore Energies UK) Occupational Health Physician. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requires all passengers travelling offshore by helicopter to sit where the nearest push out emergency exit is compatible with their body size. We also provide the shoulder measuring service and appropriate certification for this requirement.
These medicals are carried out at Unity’s clinic by experienced medical practitioners to ensure an individual is safe to undertake this activity.
